Challenge 3 - Photograph something beautiful

Its that simple this week - something that you think is really beautiful. Get creative!

Try to bring your photos along in a way we can project them - send an email, on a memory stick, post them to the blog, save them on a bluetooth phone, something like that.

Prayer artwork

We made little abstract pictures to illustrate an aspect of prayer - here are the results.

Songs that reminded us of God

In no particular order... Living on a prayer / Guns n Roses .... You set me free / Michelle Branch .... You'll never walk alone / Jerry and the Pacemakers ... One step closer to heaven / S Club Juniors ... Fix you / Coldplay ... Beautiful day / U2 ... Movin' on up / Primal Scream ... All around the world / Oasis ... You make me feel brand new / Simply Red ... '75 AKA Stay with you / Lemon Jelly ... Down To My Last / Alterbridge ... quite a mixture.

Its great that God can speak to us through the things that we like. This shows me how personal God is, that the same God can inspire one person through S Club Juniors at the same time as inspiring someone else through Lemon Jelly. He really does meet us where we are.

This week's challenge is to find and bring along an advert for something that you don't need but you really really want.
Preferably printed ads on paper so we can all see them, but be creative if its a TV ad - take a photo of it?

Radical living animation

Last week we showed a little animation we made to accompany an extract from a talk by Tony Campolo.

Click here if you would like to see it.

Challenge 1 - Songs that remind you of God

This week's challenge is to find a really good song that reminds you
of God, ideally done by a group or singer who is not traditionally
regarded as a Christian artist.

Post your songs here as a comment to let everyone know what you have found.
Remember to bring them along on Sunday evening (on CD or mp3 player
that can connect to a computer) so we can hear them too.
