Several challenges in one this week, various angles on making the world a fairer place for people. Try and do as many of these as possible - or even think of your own better ideas to do as well.
Alternative Christmas present - either to buy for someone instead of a normal present, or why not tell someone who always buys you a present that you'd prefer one of these? Available from Oxfam Unwrapped
Virtual march - on the Amnesty International website.
Send an email to the boss of the drug company Novartis to ask them to allow companies in India to produce affordable versions of their anti-cancer drug - click here.
Buy fairer - this could mean choosing Fair Trade, or choosing to spend your money at a local business rather than a multinational company (you know the one I am thinking of...)

Challenge 10 - Questionnaire

This week's challenge is a bit different...
As we've been leading Runway for 10 weeks now, we thought we'd like to get some feedback from you all. You're seeming to enjoy coming (and we're certainly enjoying leading it) but we thought it'd be worth checking that we're doing the sorts of things that you enjoy, and see if you have any ideas for future topics/activities.
If you could fill in the sheets and pop them in the box next week, that'd be great. Alternatively, you could leave some feedback/ideas here on your blog. :o)
P.S If you're the owner of the questionnaire paper aeroplane we found when tidying up (tut tut) go for the blog option.

Here's last weeks' mural based on what we learnt about the Kingdom of God.
I especially like A's mustard seed growing into a tree - our small acts of love can achieve really great things, like yeast making bread rise.
J's heart and the logo: 'love for everyone and everything' make you think just how great heaven is going to be - no hate, no tears.
A.G's lovely bird pic symbolises peace and T's spotty mansion reminds us that everyone will have a home. (I'm not sure about those creepy-looking neighbours, mind you...)
Good work guys!

Here are some photos from one of last week's spiritual games. One person per pair had to wrap parcel table around their head (sticky-side out...) and then their partner had to wheelbarrow them around the room holding their legs while they picked up as many items as possible from the floor. In case you are wondering what the spiritual relevance is, the tape represents the cleansing effect of the Holy Spirit or something like that.
Thanks to everyone who brought along artwork they'd done to illustrate the sheep and the goats story - they were fab. We'll pop the images up here for all to see asap. Also coming soon: pictures of certain kids with their heads wrapped in parcel tape. As you do.
Don't worry if you don't get the chance to do the Airborne challenges. We know you've all got a lot on your plates with schoolwork and stuff, so don't worry at all. They're just for fun afterall ;o)
Right - just to remind you, this weeks' challenge is to make contact with someone you've lost touch with. You could email or text a friend you've not spoken to for a while; send a card to your Nan who lives at the other end of the country or just speak to someone at school that you wouldn't normally. Why? Because it's a nice little random act of kindness and could really make someone's day. Ah.
