Mini Olympics

Youth Worker Chris is putting on a Mini Olympics day for all the Circuit's kids (up to about age 15, but if you're older, come along and help).

It's on Sunday 12th August at North Street Church from 2pm till 5pm.

It should be fab - all the kids will be divided into country teams, then each team will compete in mini-Olympic challenges, like welly lobbing, goal scoring, water relays etc.

Look out for the poster on your church notice board - see you there!
(Get in touch with us or Pat if you need a lift or more info)

Youth Service - you absolute stars

What a fantastic service - we're so proud of you all!
A HUGE well done to Jen for leading the whole evening, loads of thanks to our cool boy band (sorry Mandy) especially for all the time they spent practising, well done to our excellent readers, Dale and Dan, and a pat on the back each to our little blonde collection duo. Massive well done to Al too for being so brave and confident doing the interview - reckon we'll have some of you guys doing the talky bit next time!

The feedback we've heard has been nothing but positive. We reckon we should push to get you lot doing more in church!

Youth Service

Hi everyone!
Just a reminder that this Sunday night is our Circuit Youth Service at St Stephen's Church in Gainsborough Road.
Runway are leading the whole service (exciting!) including doing the music, the talk, a dance, readings... should be fab.
The theme for the service is 'bittersweet'. We'll be thinking about how life is a mixture of good and bad, but God promises that there'll be a time in the future when everything will be good.
We'll be taking for our text: "Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." (Psalm 30:5). We thought the weather symbol with both the sun and rain coming from the same cloud was a good way to show this visually.
We'll meet at the church at around 5ish for a run through of the whole thing. Musicians will already be there (practise starts 2.30ish)
See you there! (email or phone us if you need a map or a lift)
