Runway will start back for the Autumn term on Sunday 2nd September at the usual time of 7.30pm till 9pm in the back room at St John's Church, Shavington.
We'll hopefully have some new runwayers, (and will sadly have lost a couple too at the other end of the age range) so if you're a runway regular, do your best to make the newcomers feel really welcome. It can be scary joining a group of bigger kids who all know each other really well, so let's try and look out for them and make them feel welcome and involved. Just smiling and saying hello can really help new people to feel more comfortable.
We'll be looking at the theme 'What is Christianity?' as a reminder for everyone.
We've not mentioned it before (in case we didn't have time to do it!) but your runway room will have a new grown-up look which we hope you'll love. We're planning a new evening group for 20's, 30's & 40's in the Circuit called SofaChurch (www.sofachurch.com) and this group will share your room. We've had a fun spree in Ikea over the summer and (if they arrive in time!) you should be able to kiss the floor cushions goodbye as we've replaced them with funky sofas.
Let us know what you think of the makeover!
Blondes v. Brunettes: results 06/07

It's been a closely fought battle this year ("No, it hasn't" - Andy) The games have been complex, dangerous and on occasion "too much fun" - Dan.
The blondes fought hard and won a total of 8 games, including Pillow Fight, Human Sculpture, Trolley Curling, and Shooting Ducks.
But the prize goes to those cheating (well, Kat and I maintain that at least Dan and Andy cheat rather a lot) brunettes, who won 12 games, including Chicken Limbo, Balloon Volleyball, Crabs, Trolley Gladiators, Foot Fencing, The Coin-Bum Game and countless games of Dodgeball.
A grudging well done to the Brunettes then. But watch your backs: we blondes will be fighting back next term, with lots of speedy little new blonde team members joining runway...
