Blondes v. Brunettes: results 06/07

It's been a closely fought battle this year ("No, it hasn't" - Andy) The games have been complex, dangerous and on occasion "too much fun" - Dan.
The blondes fought hard and won a total of 8 games, including Pillow Fight, Human Sculpture, Trolley Curling, and Shooting Ducks.
But the prize goes to those cheating (well, Kat and I maintain that at least Dan and Andy cheat rather a lot) brunettes, who won 12 games, including Chicken Limbo, Balloon Volleyball, Crabs, Trolley Gladiators, Foot Fencing, The Coin-Bum Game and countless games of Dodgeball.
A grudging well done to the Brunettes then. But watch your backs: we blondes will be fighting back next term, with lots of speedy little new blonde team members joining runway...

there was too much cheating going on Andy shouldn't be on a team because he always lets the brunettes get away with anything!! i think we need 1 referee who isn't on a team to make it fair!!!
we're losing 2 of the best players anyways so that makes it a bit more equal because it isn't fair to have the 2 oldest and biggest on 1 team!!! hehe!! maybe us blondes have a better chance now haha!! watch out brunettes!!!
thought i'd best leave a comment while i'm over in america and by the way me and charlee have already started on our presentation about our time over here!!
see yall soon Kat :-)

We miss you girls! Wondering how you're getting on. Dan tells us it's all pool parties and fun - have you got good tans?
Glad you're happy to do the presentation; I thought you might have forgotten.
Your replacements are fun - they are scarily fearless young ladies. At the Crocky Trail they were literally knocking the boys into the stream!
Can't wait to hear all about your trip! Bet you'll both come home with loads of American penpal friends...

p.s Andy is a total cheat, you're right. Perhaps as I've now got a bun in the oven (exciting, eh?) Andy and I will both step back and be refs. Go blondes!
nah it isn't all pool parties!!! we've only been to 1!! but we do go to the water park quite a lot, in fact we're going today!!
we have very good tans. but we're going to the beach next week so we'll be topping up our tans on the beach.
i'm not going to say anymore because it will spoil the presentation on what we've done so i won't say anymore!!
yeh i wonder how my bedroom is when i get home!! Christian had already started moving stuff when they got to our house!!
a lot of the youth are friends with us on myspace and a lot of the people in the church want to come and visit us!!
we'll be home in 2 weeks 2moz!!
xxxxx
It sounds like you're having fun and making lots of friends, which is fab. Bet you won't want to leave.
Is it pretty there? I feel sorry for the Millers if it is - Crewe's not exactly where I'd choose for my holidays!
It's been very different having an American family in the Circuit - quite a novelty actually, especially hearing American accents in church.
But having said that, it'll be really nice when you're all back (aw!)
Tell your Dad that sofachurch is all go and we're not far off having the room looking all cool and funky.

it is a really nice place here and the houses aren't close together at all. a family buys a huge plot of land and i mean huge!!!! and then when their children want to leave home they build a house of their own on that plot of land so all the family basically live on 1 plot of land!! but still the houses are really spread out!! 1 of our friends who lives up the road her family have 1 house and then across the field her grandma has a house and then right at this moment her uncle is building a house in the middle of them!!! it's mad!!!
i'm about ready to come home noe i miss everyone a lot!!!! but it has been a great experience and i have loved every bit of it!!!
it's been funny listening to the people over here in church sing in an american accent when we're singing and saying the lord's prayer we all do an american accent coz it's so easy to catch on!! and people actually do sing in church!! :-O shock!!! it's really loud and they have an amazin band and music leaders. dad only has to do the sermon and everyone else does the rest!! no wonder doug's losing his voice he's not used to do doing all the talking!!!
ooo cool sofa church dad told me about that!! the 1st week we were here bible school was happening at church and it's like a holiday club but happens for a week every night. it is amazing!!! we saw 226 children over the week!!! and that was only the children up to 11 years old!!! there was about 450 different children in the older group!! it was amazing to see how many children wanted to learn more about the bible!!!
therefore i am going to try and set one up at some point!! i was really impressed and i want that sort of thing to happen in our churches at home but of course we won't get that many to start off with!!!
xxxx
Wow - that sounds really exciting! It'd be great if you started something like that.
The exchange seems to be having a really positive effect on all you guys - Chris was getting all excited about his plans yesterday too. Sounds like North Street (maybe the whole Circuit) are in for some waking up and shaking up!
You go for it!
haha!! this trip has really inspired me and i want a change to happen. it has given me some ideas as to what we can do to get the youth into church.
see you soon!!!

I don't think Andy cheats at all! Maybe the brunettes are just better? But I'm not at all biased...
Neither do i, i think that Andy played fairly, he wasnt a biased ref either! Like Chris said, the brunettes just did very well!! ;-) @@@@:)
Notice how it's all the brunettes who leave comments saying Andy doesn't cheat...
Pure coincidence, I'm sure
